Defined the trigger, the number of follow-up steps, the wait periods between each, and the exit condition when someone replies.

Built the Zapier workflow connecting the lead form → Gmail sequence → reply detection → CRM stage update.

Test & optimize
Tested the full sequence from initial trigger through reply detection, verified stage updates were correct, and adjusted timing.

What this was built to solve.

Follow-ups were being sent manually and inconsistently. Interested leads were slipping through because there was no structured sequence, no record of when someone was last contacted, and no way to track who had replied.
